I have several tig welders. I use 1 inch tubular webbing to cover my Superflex hoses.

I have seen a few threads a on adding helium to argon for tig welding aluminum. Does the same rule apply for carbon and stainless steel?

I was welding the inside of a 45 degree angle. I needed a lot of stick out as the nozzle was too widee to get in there. Are there any different nozzles to allow me to get in tighter?

Made these for my wife several years ago.

I am looking to get a small roller/bender for 1 in. and under steel strap iron. Found this one on EBay.

I am not a big fan of Everlast products. If it were me I would get the Lincoln Squarewave 200 and install a torch with a valve on it......that way you can shut off the gas long before the internal valve does. Also I would purchase the extended warranty that Lincoln offers......you are covered for 5 ...

Where in Pa. do you live?

Don't have one yet.......I take it they run slow so as not to dull?

I tried my hand at welding copper a few years ago. About the same as carbon steel. I used copper romex wire as filler rod.

On something like this is the entire reel "live?"

How old was he?

I have had an HTP 221 for going on 4 yrs. now. I considered an Everlast but declined due to questionable reviews. HTP has great customer service. I would do the same again.

Any chance your employer would allow you to take an argon tank home for a try? This would tell you straight away.
