Re: Porosity in dissimilar metals

More heat and move faster... that was the next step I think. I do not HAVE to walk the cup, it is recommended because the instructors want us to learn to weld that way because of the speed and control but they wont smack the torch out of your hand or anything lol. I use #4 for root, #6 for filler, a...

Re: AHP AlphaTig vs. Everlast Powertig 210DV

Hello Felkar, I have not used the everlast machine so take it for what you will but I bought an AHP Alpha-Tig 200x earlier this year. I have about 60 hours on it and I own my own business. So far, if I needed five more welders, I would buy this one again all five times. I love it. It seemed a little...

Any thoughts on Eastwood TIG200?

Any thoughts on Eastwood TIG200? I am in the market for a TIG welder that I can use for aluminum and they have a nice sale. I am a little concerned about the quality and would love a little independent review.

Hello from Baltimore

My name is Brian and I have been welding in the back yard for 20 years and now I'm taking my first UA21 on super double heavy wall 2". I have spent the last two days watching Jody's videos. I think that they are fantastic. the information is very clear and concise. It is presented in a very wat...
