Hi Steve, thank you for your time.
So I think maybe I need a bigger cup? and higher flow? What do you think about the amps?

Bumping technique on anodized alum, need help.
Hi all, Tried the bumping tech yesterday, the material is a broken car velg, anodized like a mirror, thickness about 5-6mm. I used Syncrowave 250DX, the settings are: 8LPM 100% Argon, 3/32 1,5% Lant tung, gas lens with cup #6, WP18, 150Amps, balance at 4 (balanced?), wiped with thinner (got no aceto...

correct, but you need to turn down the amps, maximum at 150 amps, balance at 68%. got it from miller handbook.

Hi RedIron, I just bought CK200 with standard diameter gas saver kit , it's new to me to use gas saver. So here's some question I want to ask to you. The alumina nozzle should be snap on teflon heatsink, am I right? The steel ring on the collet body functioned as nozzle stoper, am I right? The reaso...

I used 1,5% lanth on my Miller Sync 250DX. It's okay, sharpened it but leave a little flat on the tip.

Any body would tell me what DOM stands for?
With #5 nozzle and gas lens I think 10cfh is enough (for flat position).
Thank you,
Stephanus.

Re: About Gas Saver
hi Steve, been searching a while and found that 1CFH = 0.472LPM. So your 5CFH = 2.36LPM.
Are you sure tour flow is correct? Isn't it too low? I usually use 7-8LPM on #6-7 nozzles.
Thaks,
Stephanus

And it could be also a bad gas..(contaminated or not pure Argon), and make sure you weld it ACHF, no DCEN.

Re: About Gas Saver
I think they're bit different. You can check them out on www.ckworldwide.com . Would you tell the cup size you used with 5cfm argon flow, and on what position did you weld that? Anymore, 1/3 means you save 66%. Thats impresive. I wanna change my regular collet body to gas saver because of that (save...
