I was pretty good at stick welding prior to starting tig so that helped me in some aspects.

I just didn't use filler since they were just to hold the shelves and then I could save my wire. Plus its faster, at least for me at this point. Thank you for the comment and advice.

That steal is from this local metal recycling place. Pretty much get all my stuff there because its super cheap. Thanks for the tips. It is a full 200 tank from airgas so I feel like the argon is good. I guess I will need to check for leaks tonight. And the staining occurs even along a bead not only at the end so it isn'f from pulling away. Maybe I can find a leak and it will solve the issue. Thanks again
