Hey everyone Larry here. My favorite stick electrode to run aside from 6010/6011 is 7018 (particularly Lincoln Excalibur 3/32 & 1/8). I always run these electrodes on DC electrode+. I weld mainly with 7018 and 6011 on a stick DC inverter. I also weld with 6013! In my opinion you can run a decent bead with 6013 as long as you have it set right. 6013 gets a bad reputation and is underestimated as well.
