Thank you guys, sorry I haven't checked in for awhile. I though about making it into a BBq, I have a motorized spit from an old grill I could use.

Now I understand why I couldn't learn factoring when I went to school, it was my teacher's style and grace as I suspected all along.

Re: Small engine Oil?
Interesting stuff. As skeptical as I am about additives, I couldn't actually find anything on Google about it causing problems, only people calling it snake oil. My missing bottle of Dominator racing oil is going to be sent out tomorrow. Excellent customer service. That is great customer service. W...

I use Motorkote, I don't know where it stands in the additive market but it's been a good product for me.
You only use it on the third or fourth oil change so it's cost is less. http://motorkote.com/

Can't be to safe these days, they could come back and steal your stuff. One man had his racing motorcycles and chain saw stolen by people he raced with. motox I done the same thing, sometimes I just like the challenge of building something. I don't have the room to keep all the projects I've built over the years, some have been re-purposed and some are left outside, if in time they are not used they go to dump. It's not possible to sell things where...

Thanks guys. The person I was going to buy the coke and coal from went out of business, had I known, I wouldn't have built the forge. I'll keep it for awhile longer and see if the desire to do some very simple blacksmithing comes back. I would have to invest in an anvil, tongs and build a shelter to...

Never fired it up, lost interest when I couldn't find coal or coke for it, as they say, the thrill is gone, moved on to other projects. Maybe this spring I'll fire it up, I don't have that many projects on the table for this spring.

I've had the opposite happen to me a few times, the disc would become hard to twist off. I was thinking my problem was caused by me forgetting to change the air direction valve on my compressor.

Maybe try sitting on it but 207 lbs might be asking for trouble

Nice job and project design. How much do you estimate if can hold, maybe 50 to 75 lbs? That's enough for many jobs.

Perhaps a LED light built into a hood or a small adjustable LED attached to the outside of a hood with velcro would help.

A few years back I wanted to buy an aluminum tilting flag pole until I priced them, just the cast aluminium bases were over $300. I called my friend who owns a weld shop and asked if he had any salvaged 2" pipe, he said he did and let me have two full lengths for $25 a piece. The 3/8 plate was ...

My belt grinder is a Dynabrade electric belt grinder. It's one of my handiest/favorite tools, it was a bit over $200 about 5 years ago as I recall. If I would have known at the time HF made one I would have given theirs a try. :) https://www.amazon.com/Heavy-Duty-Bandfile-Belt-Sander/dp/B01M0VBVOD%...

Welding isn't hard. No one here invented welding. We just keep reporting on what we do. In the welding world, I am just a broken shit fixer and every now and then I get to fab something but I love all of it. Welding lets me use my brain because I need to be a rudimentary metalurgist to do my job no...

Thanks for the compliments on the shop guys, I had it built back in 2003. It's 24 X40 X 11 feet high. Because I need to wheel myself around the shop I have to keep things picked up and the floor swept. My welding equipment: miller MM251, MM180, MM172 Challenger and a Miller 180 SD.....
