I started a new project today that I tbink is pretty cool. It will be three bronze sea turtle sculptures for a fountain. The largest will be about 7 feet long. Turn your gas up, 30 cfh is not too much. I use 40 on anodized with no problems. You can stick your tungsten out further. You can also block off the ends to help trap the gas in the corner. I think more gas will fix your problem though.

That is the brushed and its the easier one. Polished never looks good. I set my machine at max amps so I really cant say the exact amp setting you need. I use 1/8 cerriated tungsten, 75 percent electrode neg, gas should be at 40 cfh. Get a small ball on your tungsten. About like an ink pen. I use 1/...

Yeah. They are aggrevating. The stern leans forward and angles out and the mounting points are wider than the top. And the sides are mirror images so you cant just copy direct.

How are you preping your tungsten. For thick to thin I usually use a sharp tungsten. You can direct your heat better.
