newbe question

Hello I have a question about position of tig filler rod while welding.

while welding do I keep the rod in the shielding gas or is it ok to pull it back out of the shielding gas? I have seen various videos with people doing both. I want to know the correct way to do this. Thanks.

Hello,

I have looked at those and I don't like how that machine starts the arc. Meaning that its not soft enough. Both the Mt200,
And any of the everlast I have seen start as low as 5 amps. To answer your question of whts it going to be used for.. a little of both.

CKworldwide MT200

Hello eveyone,

Does anyone here have any experience with the MT200 tig welder from CK? I am in the market can't decide between that or the everlast. any feed back on it is welcome.
