Seeing the puddle
First off, all these are done at a bench, sitting. If I am welding lap joint or fillet weld, I can see the puddle great, can even see it freeze behind, and can see where I’m going . I drag these. angle iron to square tube
On these fillet welds, is it best to start in the middle and work out or start on the outside and work in? Or do you just make one continuous weld? Or does it make any difference?

Does a cheater lens take the place of reading glasses? Or do you need to use reading glasses with it? I get the cheap reading glasses at Costco, helps me see up close
