Re: Everlast 256D Multiprocess Welder Info

I wouldn't buy (any brand) combination Plasma/Welder. If one side goes down and it's in the shop for repair, you're done cutting AND welding.

Try grinding/sanding with the edge of the disc. Also try a courser grit.

Look at these saws they are like a cold saw but do not use coolant. At 300 to 400 bucks it is my main metal cutting saw.

Welding Parts the Size of your Finger Nail

Here's a project I machined and welded. I started with a photo arm having 1/4-20 threads and attached it to the indicator with a part I machined. The other end of the photo arm to an indicator base that had a 8mm thread. So I decided to make a fine adjust mechanism to attach the photo arm to, avoidi...

Go to your local community college that teaches welding and asked them where they get their steel. Many will give you some coupons to weld with. While you're there, check-out their night courses.

Looking good! If you go online you can find grill covers that will fit pretty close, to replace the rag on top of your MP210. As CJ suggested, you got to get bigger tanks! Your cart reminds me of my other cart I built.

Welcome! My cert-flat table is one of the best thing I have bought for my shop! I haven't found anything I haven't been able to clamp down to weld. As far as clamps, make your own. Harbor Freight has what you need and it a good start. You just need to buy 1 1/2" X 3/16" flat stock and 5/8&...

What are your speeds in RPMs? Are the pulleys diameters designed to maintain a slower speed? In other words Is it ready to be assembled as shown?
