Thanks for the reply's, i never thought of the shop vac with the hose, i will probably be doing something like that. I priced out a portable fume extractor and it was cheap! 80 bucks for 7 days :) however then he said i would have to buy the filter, which is 300 bucks, told him thanks and hung up...

Hello everyone, this is my first real post. I'm looking for advice on a job i have coming up, its something ive never done before which is weld inside a finished office building. This is why I joined this forum, thanks for sharing the lesson you had to learn the hard way. Definitely helps others who will deal with scammers like your 'customer'
