Personally, to me setting the gauges I always went for max. Course max for acetylene is 15 PSI. On propane & natural gas I usually turned the gauges up to 40 plus each. Then fine adjust it at the torch. The high pressure that I use is because I don't want to go back & forth to adjust increas...

You can use propane with no trouble. But, you can also use natural gas as well. You just have to cgange the tips. But, only if you go from Acetylene to propane & natural gas. Those last 2 gases use the same type of tips. And, you won't have to change the mixer of the torch, either, for any of th...
