Tungsten is 3/32 Blue (2% lanthanated) #8, #12 cup, maybe also a #5. Stubby gas lenses for the #8 or greater cups. A standard collet body works perfectly for the #5. I keep stock of 3/32 and 1/8" 4943 aluminum filler, don't waste too much time with 1/16" ally. 1/16, 3/32 and 1/8" ER7...

Well, after a late truck and a day delay, my welder shows up today. I'm going to waste a bunch of materials this weekend playing around. Going to stop at the supply place and get some tungsten and filler rod. I plan on doing the "normal" stuff like mild steel, aluminum and stainless. Any s...
