i'm making header for subaru and up pipe and our header is little fragile i think. thick or thin, a lot brand subaru headers are still cracking. i just tried to minimize the risk, some other brands are using sch10 pipe too

thanks for replies, i did leakdown test again and no leak (regulator hoses torch etc.) but now i'm sure that sound is gas lens sound and also i increased the flow and I was using the cup number 7 while practicing and now I have switched to number 12, the protection of the argon really made a differe...

hi again, i'm trying to weld with purging first welds with no gap and no bevel(just i want to try) and i did not do full penetration(I welded it with variable amperage so I could experiment, between 75-100amps) than i welded with gap(about 0,024"(0,6mm)) and no bevel (about 90 amps, 8cfh purge)...
