this was the top of the torch, where you can attach the cutting head/rosebud/ welding tips. Got a fellow to re-die it (don't have any that big) for a reasonable price...it was going to be about as mmuch to get a new one as to buy a die that size.
thanks for the reply-

howdy all- Have had a victor torch for a long time. today while moving with it, it was yanked from my hands and landed threads first onto some gravel and dinged up the threads, possibly beyond repair. Looking for folks who have used Smith or Harris. I got an open mind-anyone have an opinion on eithe...

I have a nice swivel head Grizzly horz. BS. Works great. I paid $500 and change delivered. Grizzly has bigger ones as well. Their cust. service sorta sucks, but not much to go wrong with one of these anyways.

howdy-
I am looking to add a spoolgun, I have the LN 25 with a contactor kit. I am thinking I can simply plug it in to my Ranger 250 and get going. Am I mistaken?
Thanks-

Re: New Member need trouble shooting help
don't forget to open the valve on the torch itself (if you have one), the WP17 has a button looking valve you turn that is mostly for the lift arc with no foot pedal.
hope it helps-

I think you fellers may have nailed me. The argon flow, but I think the bal. at 99 may have been too high come to think. Bead way too narrow, I'll bet 60 will help. fill my argon, lower my bal, and you were right-it boiled up like dirty cast. I figured that one being a skidplate, but it is hard to s...

got about 40# of a 44# roll of mild steel wire in my ln-25 that got rusty on the sides only (top or inside the roll seem to be fine after I took a couple of layers off) due Missouri moisture.
