Im in the same situation too except there are good places to work at here in south Carolina. we got a couple of nuclear plants and plenty of heavy industry comanys that i want to get into. but im fresh out of high school and got little experiance in a real welding work place. i can stick mig and tig...

I think you should stick weld it to hard face it all, although (im sorry) i forgot wich electrostick is best. and you should definetly start to learn to stick weld, thats will help you alot in the near future. i first learned to weld on a 7018 rod and it my favorite thing to use, let alone do. u can...

Looking for a job to pay for welding shcool

Im looking for a welding job in the upstate south carolina region. I need about 5,000 to pay for Arclabs. i got discounted 2 grand but still in need. I would like to do any type of welding an can do stick/tig/mig and cutiing and stuff. thanks for any replys.

you never knew of putting those gell packs in a rod container? I also put some in my tackle box so the big hooks that ive used for ever wont rust as easy. also i think 7018 rods are best ever, but thats because thats how i learned to weld with first- u can get some smooth as baby bottom beads on tho...

hey so what types of welding have you done let me know and i may b able to turn u on to some work I took 3 semesters of welding at school- stick welded all positions and mig also. also tig welded pipes although im not a pro at it all, i was pretty much top in the class, won 3/4 compititons but that...
