Re: Dynasty 200 freaky noises!

Its normal, I thought the same thing and was a little timid to keep it turned on at first, but after talking to the Miller technician when they fixed my machine for a broken fan motor, they assured me the noise was a normal thing for an Inverter. A toy like space gun wheezing humming type of thing t...

Re: Premature arc extinguish?

Still not getting why arc goes out. I know its not any slope or t settings because the same thing happens with a foot or on/off trigger.

Premature arc extinguish?

Im probably need to read an instruction manual, but....... Im trying to use the dynasty 200 dx for the first time, and it consistently lets the arc die after about 15 seconds. Im wondering what could be causing this. I have a foot pedal, I let the machine warm up for a good 5 mins before I try using...

Re: Wiring the Miller Dynasty DX 200

Thank you for the reply, it was very helpful. Im using this machine to learn how to tig weld (at least once the dinse connector comes in the mail  ). Ill be trying to mostly practice on thinner material, and 98% percent will most likely never be thicker than 1/4" mild steel. However, that ...

Wiring the Miller Dynasty DX 200

I've seen a few threads about wiring this machine, but none of them really explain things to the uber stupid. OK, here is what I get..... I get that the machine can use a 1 phase or 3 phase power source and what that is. I get that I can wire the machine to accept plugs for a regular 110 outlet or 4...

Re: Hidden Welds?

Thank you all for the reply! I know of one little trick someone showed me where they would drill a hole behind the piece to be welded and the fill it up with a mig gun or whatever welding tool on hand. The two metals are welded together and no welds are visible which is a great lil technique for art...

Hidden Welds?

Im a noob waiting to get my tig machine delivered so I can start practicing, but in the meantime Ive been trying to find instructions on as many techniques and tips as I can to practice with in the near future. While there are no shortages of videos and instructions on how to make pretty weld "...

Re: Dynasty 200dx complete package or parted out?

Trigger pulled! OK, now to get the stuff and start welding stuff. Question about cups though, they are listed as a consumable, does that mean they wear out?

Re: Dynasty 200dx complete package or parted out?

Thank you for the feedback. Now that its time to pull the trigger, Ive been doing alot more researching into prices and options and I think Im going to want to part things out and get a better "bang for he buck" for the same cost. I've known people who have made their own carts and the fir...

Dynasty 200dx complete package or parted out?

Hi everyone! I am a total noob when it comes to welding, in fact I've so far had a total time of about 2 mins behind a tig before I decided to get a really expensive rig in the Dynasty 200dx. Its just way too much fun welding and I simply want to learn how to do it and the tig is very artist friendl...
