Using the pulse option or manual pulsing with the foot pedal is a good way to accomlish that. Just wondering what is the best filler for 5052 is? At our shop we normally run 4043. Just thinking about trying something else. Not to concerned if it turns black after anadizing as the 4043 we use already does and the customers don't care. Anything better as far as strenght and apperance?

As long as you are set up for dcep for bare wire short circuit mig you are good to go, most flux wires are made to run on dcen.
