What do yall think about the EVERLAST PowerARC 160STH High Frequency Start TIG / Stick IGBT Welder 110v/220v? Its on Amazon for $429

Im looking for a cheap welding machine to practice pipe welding anybody have any suggestions? What should I look for when getting a machine for pipe welding?

Anybody in the Gonzales,La area? I need some practice! I recently graduated Job Corps but I only learned the basics. I'm hoping to find somebody in the area that could either teach me or at least let me practice with their equipment. I will pay you for your time. $50 for a couple hours a week.

So im doing a weld test for Jacobs and its a vertical v groove and an overhead v groove with 309 ss all the way and thay are x rayed. Has anybody ever done anything like this? what are your thoughts? I passed my vertical after a day and a half lol

Thanks for all the info everybody. Here is an update, the job is for Jacobs at Rayonoir in jesup,Ga. The welding test was A vertical v groove and an overhead v groove both with a 309 rod all the way and they are x rayed. I passed my vertical and havnt done the overhead yet.
