Well I said what the hell and got it. Ended up getting it for $100 bucks brought it home and plugged it in . Fan works and sounds like it hums good but without any leads or torch I just have no idea yet. When I engage it on stick weld the contactor makes a loud buzzing noise so I ordered a new one. ...

Need an opinion on a possible purchase of a used unit. I came across an older Miller EconoTig AC/DC . I would love to get my feet wet on a affordable unit before spending big bucks. The problem is that it does not come with a torch, foot control or bottle/valve, Basiclly just the welder but for $150...
