a couple weeks ago when i was there waiting for the shop foreman to come get me for the test i happened to let out a big yawn as he was walking up he said "you aint supposed to be yawning before a weld test" haha

well i had the interview today and they asked me to come back for a weld test!
i wore a nice shirt a tie, nice shoes .. the whole bit.
there was another guy in front of me that had jeans and cowboy boots.

i get the feeling my LWS is jerking me around slightly or at the least i want to make sure they aren't by comparing prices with some stuff.

what if you found a metal yard stick and used that to make your "tab measurement stick"?
that way, you not only get a real time fit up, but you get the measurement without have to grab a tape measure.

this machine has a crank handle to change amperage so i think its definitely a NO to being able to add a foot pedal.

the torch and leads, argon regulator.. here's a link to the owner's manual. http://www.millerwelds.com/om/o302j_mil.pdf it seems that there is no place for a foot pedal other than one that controls the HF. i figured if an amperage control could be made it would have to be a do it yourself type deal
