Re: dirt bike project

richard,
yes Honda changed the motocross world with the 125 and 250 Elsinores.
they were light and fast compared to the European bikes.
i raced Bultaos in 1974 and you needed a lot of motor work to
pull a start against a stock Elsinore.

had the honda wings on he tank when i first did the bike to race.
gas fumes lifted them off in a few weeks.
not sure how long it will sit before sold so opted not to put them on

Re: Kidde fire extinguisher recall

Arte,
i had one with the plastic discharge. i went to the site
filled out the info and 4 weeks later received a new one.
if you do this, when you receive the new one, carefully open
the box since they want you to return the old one in it.

Re: Motorcycle subframe crack repair

i don't know the deal with KTM but I've cracked and or broken at least 10 or more aluminum sub frames (mostly Kawasaki and Honda.) i did cut a slight V in the crack and welded it with 4043. i have also cut and lowered several subframes for shorter riders and have never had an issue with them. don't ...

i have both size flexloc with super flex cables on them.
i've had them for years and not a single problem with either one.
the larger one is connected to a miller 250 syncrowave and the
20 style on my HTP. both have had a lot of use.

Re: Current control

the peddle has the same amount of movement regardless
of your setting but setting it close to the max point needed
will allow you more control on the peddle.
