Thank you for the replys guys I have two chances to take this test my biggest problems is speed I played a bit practicing because I was frustrated n needed to do somethin else a bit seems like light weaving may help ill repost how Monday goes in class weather permitting

2in schedule 80 carbon with 309 stainless filler 6g

Here's my problem I've tried pushing the rod I just can't get it keeps clumping up I have my speed right amperage is nominal I just need a lil help before my test any suggestions would help as we practice on 4" pipe carbon but test is normal stainless carbon weld just need to pass is all

6g issue I'm frustrated

Working on acquiring skills for 6g cert but I have a problem I'm right handed and on the "hard" side between the 5 &3 clock position I have very bad noticeable highs and lows tried varying heat tried changing my speed on the pass always use a file on the electrode for restart on the 70...
