Mig welders
Was wondering If anyone could recommend any good mig welders for just basic repair work and basic fab work I have a stick welder already but am looking for something that will possibly speed up the time it takes to build. I am also trying to decide whether to go into the union apprentice program at the local 100 but there's also another welding school that's pricey but I just don't know which would be better?

Was wondering if anyone could recommend a tig welder that's good for some repair work but mostly fab work in a garage? I do have a 220v plug installed already you need a welding machine for a garage? are you sure you need a tig machine to weld body panels or a new floor in the chevy? you didn't say...

Thanks a lot! But can anybody recommend a decent torch and hoses ect... I have no idea what I'm looking at for tig but I would like just a simple torch that's not terribly expensive

Lift arc/ scratch start tig
I am new to tig welding I can run a good weld with mig and stick and want to try tig but don't want to spend the money on a tig welder just yet, was wondering if anyone could give me some info and explain what all a scratch start rig has and what all I would need to get for a scratch start rig thanks
