about the thinnest I weld is 1/4" and push upwards I normal end up running hot on my welds too. Ill be going to town welding up some frames or something and the welder will trip out with help codes telling me it is overheated. And I will weld up to 1" plate normal on dual shield wire.

The wire size is .035 voltage is not at 26.9V and 650 on run speed.

Also to note the ellis will only go out to 45 degrees where the S-20 will go out to 30 degrees we do cut a fair amount of 30 degree angles.

the S-20 is not auto.... that would be the S-20A its a really heavy duty saw very well built and cuts through thick steal like butter...

Mig welding aluminum

Hey guys I am trying to weld some 6061 aluminum in a t-joint together with 5356 wire both are 3/8" running miller matic 251 with a 30A spool gun, 27 cfh 25.5 volts and 650 is what the wire feed is reading out, using a pushing when i weld one side and bend it back it just pops loose on the botto...

Any idea of what the part looks like? I run HD plasma every day.... I just got back from Chicago looking at lasers... the things that make laser expensive on SS is the thickness how thick are you going? if you are .135 or under I would do it on laser and not even think twice about it.... if the part...

I checked it last them then plugged it back in and it worked again for a while would you check it why it is still plugged in on the back side of the cannon plug?

Syncrowave 350 Foot pedal

Hey guys, I am having my intermittent problem with my syncowave 350 again where when I press on the foot pedal I get really low power like 5 amps max. But when I flip it to the panel for amperage it works great give me the power as it should..... any ideas where to start hunting this problem down at?

Biggest thing we run is IR air sanders, and a air hammer off and on. We have 1.5" pipe coming from the 2 air compressors then when it gets to tall part of our building it splits left and right 1" pipe, we are running all they way around the building then connecting both sides to make a loo...

If you need a lot cut you could also look at outsourcing to a company that has a CNC plasma table. But the pantograph is a great idea.
