Drill and tap?

Hey guys I was just wondering you guys drill and tap if you have several holes do you put a tapping head on a drill press, do it by hand? Or do any of you use a drill press with a 3 phase motor and just switch direction with a drum switch?

Thanks,

If i was going to buy as plasma I would get Hypertherm first then Thermal Dynamics. I also have a Big table running a twin thermal dynamics that will cut ...

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you have put ends on oxygen or natural gas the hose style is like what you have on an oxy torch. What tools are needed and where can you get the hose?

I have a 4.0 Jeep I6 head that has a crack that separates oil and coolant. Just to verify this over the valve cover not in the...

Re: How to install a remote switch on a Thermal dynamtic pla

Hello and welcome to the forum, what model of plasma cutter are you using. I have worked with several of thermal dynamics plasmas, from the cutmaster A120 to older large industrial systems such as Merlin pac 15xc. Chances are you will go to the plasma cutter power source not to the head to control t...

Re: metal cutting chop saws +-

I like horizontal band saws. They take a little longer to cut, but the cut is a lot cleaner than an abrasive saw. A lot quieter, too. I have a Kalamazoo 9Aw which has a 12 inch cut, so if I have to do a lot of lengths, I can load that up with as many pieces as it will take and cut them all at the s...

Re: Syncrowave 350

Yes I think so... I know the arc is more controllable looks like most of it was steel that got into the tungsten, I have a lot to learn about tig but all and all it worked good except the gas dosnt shut off until the machine shuts off and I have it set to stop after a 6 second delay.
