TiG finger question

I use mine a lot on long runs of MIG also. Agree..on long runs, gloves alone cannot handle the heat..tig finger glides smoothly in metal resulting no pause and consistent welds.. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160227/91537380128fc390b3092b55aebae779.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160227/29...

chopsaw spark/dust trap

cutting with abrasive chopsaw contributes a lot of mess in my shop..so i came up with an idea to contain the spark and the dust as well.. 3x1 channel bar.welded together to form a rectangular tube.. http://i62.tinypic.com/av0ccn.jpg http://i57.tinypic.com/2jcde87.jpg http://i58.tinypic.com/25pocax.j...

Re: new welding table from scrap yard...

You might consider adding a angle grinder holder in the other side of your table..mine is 1/2 thick and it serves me well..

3/8 is good enough if you dont pound frequently in your table top..
