A small write in the rain notebook will easily fit in your pocket.

WPS are typically well thought out/tested.
I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of the stick since I used a non-approved welding process for fitup. Lol

Re: Cover lens

One other big tip. DO NOT Just go trying to wipe it off. Rather is the clear lenses or filter. First blow it off with compressed air or run it under water.
Last a lot longer doing that. Otherwise you might as well take sandpaper to it.

6061 had some recent videos about tungsten size.
Can't say I've seen his videos brought up on here though.

If that doesn't work out, depending on what hood it is, you might be able to swap the headgear.

Re: My new ride

Not sure how practical a newer auto would be as they will likely require a stand alone computer due to the 7.3 being mechanical injection - if it has a C6 in good shape I'd keep it - just change filter / fluid & maybe add a bigger cooler - I like the boom idea but the weight is adding up & ...

Re: My new ride

Should be the c6 trans. Pretty durable. Could upgrade to a newer auto. Or a 5 speed if you feel like rowing gears. For i.p. and injectors, look into Conestoga diesel, r&d IDI performance, and there's a guy that goes by typ4 on some forums. Those 3 do better parts than you will get at the parts s...

Still should be getting better mileage.
Have you replaced any of the fuel system? Or timed it?

If the engine blows again, drop the 4.3 in with a 5 speed. Or bolt up a SM465, you'll never break one of those. Lol

I learned to not play around on service body (tool box) truck beds. Was 5 or so.
About 6 stitches. A few inches to the right, and I wouldn't be able to have kids. Let alone even try.

^ if you use that every time you wash it from new, you won't even have any headlights left after a few years.
In essence, don't do that.
Get something like this, since yours are still fine. http://www.xpel.com/products/headlight_protection.asp

Re: Moving red dot in my Puddle

Just for S's/G's bump the peddle for some preflow before you start welding.
And too much gas will practically give the same look as not enough gas.
