Well I know the parameters I've just never welded 4" pipe before thought maybe it was different than 6"

Weld test tomorrow need some help
I have a weld test tomorrow 4 inch pipe 6g. I'm not sure what thickness but it has to be 100% X-ray tig all the way out can you give me some parameters to go off of I am up at school practicing and I really need to get this job. Thank you

That wasn't even the test I got their couldn't even find the guy I was to report to. Then the test was mig welding on galvanized steel. About 10 ga maybe 12. I did good enough I guess still something I've never done it sucks but I told myself I would stick with it. Hopefully I can find something else.

Weld test help
I have a weld test in the morning 10 gauge stainless steel butt joint with SS mig. Never done this before I need to know parameters and technique

How does one become a class A, B, or C welder
Keep seeing jobs postings with this just wanting to know. There are some that say you need to fit to do you need to be a full fledged pipe fitter or do you just need to know how?

How does someone get ASME certified? I keep looking for jobs and all these pipe welding jobs want asme or code welders. If you're not certified can you still apply for these jobs and the company will certify you? I'm just completely confused on the whole ordeal I read the article on here about getti...

There's no gap at all and no backing strap the instructor told us to grind a grove and it was over an 1/8 deep and he said fill it up all the way with one pass. It 80/20 gas and .045 wire

NEED HELP WELD TEST TOMORROW
Weld test 1/2 carbon plate 1g flux all the way out and back welded I'm taking this test tomorrow and it has to pass X-ray how deep do you need to grind it and should you run one or two pass on the back weld? What wfs and volts should I use? And any tips on how to pass would be great! Thank you stephen

What should I do after welding school?
I've been in TWS for nearly 5 months now I have learned way more than I ever thought I would, but there is one thing I haven't learned. My goals for my career is to work in a power plant or a refinery or my biggest one to be on pipeline. I know I can't do these right out of school can't just show up...

Hi freq or downhill at Tws
I'm in tulsa welding school and in phase 9 we have the option to pick downhill pipe or high frequency tig but we can't do both. which one do you think would most benifit my career? Thanks stephen
