hey all, I am currently working on a minitruck project and I need to weld some airbag mounts and 4-link pivots onto my toyota hilux (tacoma) diff housing, does anyone have any experience doing this? I am a little bit worried about heat and the housing warping... aside from building a jig to bolt it ...

yes, good eye... have my daily driver decked out with a squirt! keeps the 'P' platers around town scratching there heads when they act all Victor bray in there commodores off the lights! a man can't have too many toys in my opinion!

Hey cheers for the info Braehill ! The welder in question is a HF Tig/Arc inverter... so it could be similar to what you are talking about... ill have a search through some old posts to try and see what I can come up with.

I want to get a new tig machine soon but in Australia they aint cheap!

Ive used other tig machines and never had the same issue, I was sure at one stage it was my hood, I started off with a 2 sens...
