Than you for the post!! I am big into building cars and have always wanted a car rotissarie. Now just as soon as i get a place where i can build a shop i will fab one of these up......wouldnt fit in my current single car garage :cry:

Being inexperienced doesnt exactly help being able to join in the conversations here. So.......questions it is. Would anyone be able to define or describe this arc blow? Or gas blow?

Ah..the all mighty tri clover fitting. I weld those daily 316L stainless for Food Grade apps. Typically with a food grade job you would do a autogenous weld (no filler), full penetration with an argon back purge. Using filler is not ideal as you'll have too much reinforcement in the I'd of the pipi...

Hello. I am the typical, learn to weld by trying things and see what works and what doesnt, kind of welder. Just the kind of answers i was looking for. I did just watch one of jody's videos that has the trick with copper at the end of the weld to run onto like you said. I was unsure if that was acceptable for chromoly but that answers it. Thanks guys
