Hi,When tig welding stainless, can anyone give any advice on preventing "Coking" on the back of the weld apart from back purging?

Hello folks.
Looking for some advise on tig welding a magnesium clutch housing from an old Honda motorbike.
Is it doable? If so what filler rod would be suitable?
Welding set is an EWM Triton 220 ac/dc.
Any help gratefully recieved.
