Miller 175 isn't that a mig machine?

Read your manual pure tungsten is not used with an inverter welder. Thoriated or others not pure.Sharpen to a point and weld on I have a dynasty 200dx welds alum great no problems.

Ends don't fray if you don't pull it apart?

What tungsten size
What amps?
How close is tungsten gap?
What size filler rod?

Argon only any you problems will disappear.
