I built this welding table out of scrap to build shooting targets. I used 1/2 inch diamond plate aluminum for the top 10 gauge for the bottom shelf and 1 1/4 inch angle for the structure.

I make shooting targets with ar500 gongs for extra money I figured I would give out the idea to fellow welders. I sell these at the local gun shows.

I like running stringer beads you did a great job they are not as easy as people think I will try to post pictures of a 3g but I only have 3/8 steel lying around. I like those rods too I buy them at Colorado compressed gas. And that root pass looked better than mine that's for sure.
