I have a similar problem but noticed that eastwood do a stitch welder attachment for arc welders. It inverts the electricity and works at about 40amps and is used in the UK for car restoration (I am told) I am a beginner too and have posted on this site for some info. :mrgreen:

Has anybody used the stitch and spot welder attachments on an arc/stick welder ? Eastwood as well as chinese companies make them.

Hi guys I am a car repair guy with decent welding skills. I am looking for plans to build my own wrecker any ideas on where to buy them ? I have checked Amazon to no avail ! I am also interested in the foldaway towing dolly plans something to fit in the back of my van.
