I haven't fired up a stick yet, nor have i put one to the grinder, but i was wondering if there is a way to tell what a rod is by looks? It has a dark gray almost black flux, and the bare end is painted dark red. the packaging is a plastic bag, green and i'm sure used to be clear, and the only part ...

yes the pink cup....i might be able to get a pic a this afternoon, but basically right where the pink body necks down from the big internally threaded part to the small outlet, its popping that end off

I'm fairly new to the whole tig world, but really enjoying figuring it out....the problem I'm having is I have had 2 #8 gas lenses break right at the taper. Both times doing relatively short welds(1" X 1/8" angle steel). Diversion 180, foot pedal, 120 amps, 20 cfh. Also is there something ...

Just curious, is turning up the speed and voltage just for dual shield, or will that help with solid wire also?...I need a lot more time on my uphill welding and just trying to have a setting as I practice.

it has a new liner in it, as well as head tube, and tip adapter. the head tube had been broken by another employee. i tried to clean and adjust everything that i could last night, and same results....with the diffuser and tip off and wire free and out of the liner....squeeze the trigger feeds about ...

Ordered my 250EX today. the salesman was trying to win a trip or something he said, upgraded foot petal, upgraded torch, through in a 17F torch, upgraded the the starter pack, and ate the state sales tax. he said they had them in stock should be here this week. cant wait.
