tbh everything i buy is made in china, even the welder bought in Germany is made in china, 4 years now and working flawlessly
very pleased with it!

if you go with the water cooled one you'll have 0 problems
it;s not the best in the world but it does the job great

they are very good
i use 2 from them, 1 water cooled and 1 wp26 normal
in 2 years never had problems with the torch

thanks Steve i tried with a large lens, it's better but the inside of the pipe gets contaminated. nasty looking is there any way to do this without gas purge inside the pipe? i have seen this guy on youtube and he doesnt use gas purge , gets nice welds inside and out how is that possible? i was usin...

i have the same problem
5 out of 10 the gas solenoid closes the gas flow. but the other 5 it doesnt
so i pick the gas hose and strangle it for 2seconds then release it , and i hear the valve closing
one of this days i am going to open the welder and take a look inside to solve the problem

new aluminum , i never clean it, dont see why i should waste the time, and it comes perfect

i clean the dirty one with wire brush and brake cleaner. seems to do the job quite nice, welds perfect as on new aluminum

i never had to clean new aluminium prior to welding
only with a brush when repairing old pieces, but on new pipes when i'm building frame brackets there is no need imho, and the welds are perfect

for me 2% lantanated works best and i buy them in china WL20 , about 14-15$ for 10 pieces

a pulse setting needs you to set the values ...background current ..and pulse current ..
how could you still have amperage control ..and pulse?

i guess you are using a lot of amps to burn those torches, right?
