Re: Basic small weldingtable..

I would have never thought of adding bolts to help leveling the table. I'll keep that in mind when I upgrade to a weld / cutting table. Thanks! First of all; THANK YOU EVERYONE! The leveling bolts are really helpful.. You can't tell by the pictures but i have welded a nut on the other side and i us...

Basic small weldingtable..

Hello! After spending some time on youtube watching people build nice tables with lots of storage, tool holders and stuff, i decided to make a really basic one:) Maybe i'll add just one or two holders for vicegrips;) I'm going to add a detachable part that will be used as cutting-area but i will pos...

Re: Floorheatingsystem guard

Why, they call that one of them things, that goes around another one of them things. Real simple. A few years back, I had to build a custom guard like that out of stainless. Piece of cake job with loads of profit. Gary I bet that was a nice cove.. I would have liked to use stainless to,but i was to...

Re: Aluminum brackets for snowmobile rear liftinghandle

USE LOTS OF WD-40 TO GET A CLEAN CUT. ...and even more acetone to clean that mess off  . Am I the only one that uses non-chlorinated brake cleaner instead of acetone? Just curious... But yes, the WD-40 will make a huge mess! I use brake cleaner, it works great but some people say that it s...

Yes, standard wood bits.
If you use a guide carbide grinding bits can be used, and then also for steel.

Re: Aluminum brackets for snowmobile rear liftinghandle

Another tip regarding fabricating parts like this when you have such good template if you have a decent wood router.Rough cut the piece down to 1-2 mm excess then put a trim flush bit in the router. Bolt the plates together (or tack flush) then run the router along. Will leave perfect shape and the...

Re: Aluminum brackets for snowmobile rear liftinghandle

Not too bad, have done a lot worse myself  I have found that it will be easier to weld different thickness together if I bevel the thicker part. The thinner piece will melt down a bot and then the filler build it up again. Can then be ground flush if a clean finnish is required. Your plates l...

Aluminum brackets for snowmobile rear liftinghandle

I did theese for a buddy of mine and afterwards i saw a couple of things i should have done differently.. For example it would have been better tracing the outlines of the piece and then shape it, i didn't see that untill i was done with the first one. The first one i tacked to the reenforcement pie...

Floorheatingsystem guard

I had no idea what to call this project, hope i didn't confuse you to much.. The pipes has been open like that since i built the garage last year and i felt like i had to do something about it. I cut the sheets at work and i had forgotten to calculate the difference between the wall and the "co...

EXACTLY! Perfectly said! I would have expected to see the oil boiling out! Maybe the part is relatively new?

It's a -78 original part:)

Owner called me after he put the part in.. He was really satisfied with fitment and there was no leakage:)

Re: Aluminium waterpump housing repair Mercedes diesel

Thank you! It is really nice to get all of this feedback..

I have a 19" aluminum rim with a crack in it coming up..
it's been welded once before with a aluminumstick and it also needs a lot of pre-weld work..
Let's see how that goes :)

Hello from Sweden!

Hi! My name is Jocke, i live in the north of Sweden. Today it´s really cold outside, -28 celsius. I´ve been welding stick and MIG for a while and i´m now learning how to use TIG machines.
