Good point about the chip, I thought it might have been for a connector like the others. It does look like a chip though.

After some careful thought over a couple of beers, if I can't make a clean install on the unit I'll probably just install a separate swith on the torch or cable. It will override the original switch on 4t but still allow 2t to be used. I've had the case off today, on the control board there is a pla...

Morning guys, Just a quick hello from me. UK based fabricator. Working on a wide range of materials and thickness' I am now predominantly welding tig but do weld mig when needed. Mainly work on mild steel down to 1mm and similar on stainless. Just got a tig set for home so the projects will soon beg...
