I was wondering why I couldn't log in - thanks for posting.
And you're right, a heads up both times would have been nice.

I keep getting ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT errors on https:// in chrome. Only lets me on the site in http:.
I don't think they're changing things, the forum software is just broken. I have two tabs open right now, both on the same forum URL. On I'm logged in on, one I'm strangely not. Even navigating to the same pages and refreshing, one stays logged in and the other stays logged out.

Apologies for any frustration. I've been back and forth with our web host about SSL for some time. These issues were caused by them installing the cert to the wrong domain. There are also some forum software kinks that have been troublesome. Anyway, the site is https now (might require manually typing 'https://' in your address bar). As other posters have noted, deleting cookies should resolve any login issues. If not, feel free to send me a message.
I'll make a post next time I make changes like this. Host assured me that it would be a very simple change, and that just wasn't the case. Either way, the fault is mine and I'll be sure to announce any backend changes that could cause issues in the future.
Thanks,
-Joey

Thanks for the work!
Once you start stirring some existing setup with a seemlingly simple change it does tend to bring out bugs and issues from the woodwork..
BTW.. Good tool/plugin for most browsers to make sure it automatically uses https for as much sites (and their sub-content) as possible is:

Bye, Arno.
