General welding questions that dont fit in TIG, MIG, Stick, or Certification etc.

I have 2 welders I'm wanting to use. One dinky wire feed, and a moderate stick. The service on my house hasn't been updated in roughly 30-40 years, and the cost to get it done has been estimated at $20,000. So my only real option at this point is a generator for my welders. I have an 8750 starting, 7k running generator. Pictures are below, anyone here able to tell me if, how well, and to what degree these welders will run?

That generator should be big enough to run either welder. With a few side notes. The 220v circuit is likely only rated at 20 amps so if you crank up either welder to there max then they will trip the circuit on the generator. Stick welding at amps below the max will be posible but you may get some surging of power which makes arc starts a little harder to get used to for someone without a lot of experience. You can bump up the size of your generator but by the time you get one big enough to run them reliably you will be looking at a price tag close to half of what you will spend on your electric service. The service will last many decades with very little maintenance. A big generator will need regular maintenance (.$). And sometimes major repairs ($$$). It will have an expected run hours rating before it will need replaced ($$$$$). Fuel cost of running your own generator for power will be less efficient that buying your power from the power company. But you gain portability. So if you move you can take your power supply with you. You might be better off ( cheaper $) buying a 350 amp gas powered welder and adding a mig feed box.

I suspect that the question boils down to how much of the maximum input current you'll actually be drawing. If most of your welding is done with 1/8" or smaller rods you should be fine with the Stickmate. And as your wire feeder only draws 21 amps/4800 watts you'll be fine with it at any output it can produce.
