So I've been practicing my pupe welding for some time .

I picked up some sch 80 6 inch and im just trying to figure out what is the easiest way to bevel this stuff . I beveled 1 coupon out by hand . And it took an hour , and i would consider myself a somewhat experienced pipe Beveler lol .

Is there any techniques I can use to help speed this process in stuck with a 4 1/2 Dewalt grinder . .

40-50A plasma cutter and make a jig to rotate the torch around the pipe. You'd be done in 60 seconds + finish off with a flap disk on a grinder.

If you have a weld rotator make a fixture to hold the torch (plasma or ox. acet) and cut away. Oxygen acetylene torch assumes your welding steel pipe

Beveling with a flap disk on a 4-1/2 in grinder shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes.
I have more questions than answers
