I have a Viking. It's a great hood. But I don't like the blue lens. Yeah, it's extremely clear, but the blue color is too much for me to be looking at for a 10 hour shift. I have a passive Jackson with an orange filter, and I like that. I've seen other posts talking about red and other colors I didn't know they made. For the type of work I do, an auto-darkening hood is generally preferable to a passive hood. I've been asking around about an auto-darkening hood with a shade color of orange, or red, because that color family seems to be more gentle on my eyes. I've asked in other places, and I don't get an answer, or I get confusion as to why I would ever want to switch out a Viking. Can anyone on the forums point me to an auto-darkening hood of quality that at least comes close to rivaling the Viking that has a shade in that color family (red/orange)? Thanks
