General welding questions that dont fit in TIG, MIG, Stick, or Certification etc.

You can never be too careful. I am taking apart some metal guarding and here's what i found in one of the posts.

You just never know.

It is saw dust. More accurately cardboard dust. Also some paperwork the employees shove down rather than walk to the recycle bin.

I have a buddy who used to weld and told me to be careful. Even if everything looks OK don't assume it is. He set fire to a wall and had to gut it to put it out. He could smell the smoke but couldn't see it.

To me it was good advice.

You only need a spray can to thrown in there could be nasty when welding
