Hey guys,I want to buy a miller A/BP 330 that I found on Craigslist for $300. I'm trying to find out some info on this welder and if anyone has experience working on them because it stopped working on the guy. He said it has a very faint arc and will not hold arc. He said he replaced the points and got after market capacitors but he thinks they may be too small. He says it does exactly what it did before he put the new parts so that makes me believe that it's not the capacitors. What do you guys think. Any info would be appreciated. Are parts still available for these?

I think your best bet would be the Millerwelds forum....
They have some good technicians over there, and might have some good trouble shooting tips....

Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it.

Yeah, I called and spoke with one earlier and he said they should have most parts to cover my needs for that machine and if I didn't buy that he wanted the number so he could lol. I kind of figured the parts should still be available because it is such a popular model. Thanks for your input.
