Hey guys, I started doing my MMAW today for the first time and ended up getting top marks for the first weld to do which was a 1G pad so I thought I'd post a pic up here for you all to commend or criticize.

I found it quite funny that i got 100% on this then spent hours trying to get the 1G 3mm butt joint using 6013 right with proper pen etc LOL

I've been having some trouble with the stop-starts while changing rods and keeping a uniform weld as you will see with the pad up the top.

anything advice that you can give would be appreciated cheers.

Also thought it would be a good opportunity for others to post pics of their welds for people to comment on

Very good.
Looks consistent, decent penetration.
Since your not getting much spatter, try turning it up 5-10amps.
Good up the practicing.
Try 7018 if you get a chance.
