I have to say, my hobbies are less expensive...

Agreed, it looks like 50 pounds of fun in a ten pound sack!

An they are having a blast, Id love to build one of those. I have a 25.5 nhra certified chassis 91 Mustang GT on drag radials with a turbo 32v setup, should make about 1300hp. Been working so much have had time to really touch it. So my time is spent with my 6yr old daughter and 4 yr old son playing dinosaurs, sharks, babies and what ever..
I weld stainless, stainless and more stainless...Food Industry, sanitary process piping, vessels, whatever is needed, I like to make stuff.

Thats what life is all about Rick, the rest is vaguely unimportant.
Although for male sanity, a shed and a project are essential.

God gave man 2 heads and only enough blood to run 1 at a time. Who said God didn't have a sense of humour.....

Yeah, my hobbies aren't quite that pricey either. I just shoot and reload, reload and shoot.

Went down that Rabbit hole one night and pissed away at least two hours. Got the "Gotta haves" out of my system. ;)

It's all about bikes for me. That's why I started welding.

Ride them race them, break them, fix them, mod them. An obsession.

Aside from welding and welding subjects, I am a very, very good ("professional" level) jazz trumpet player - if I wanna be.

When it comes to music, my latest endeavor is to learn to play the Chapman Stick.
Here's an artist who lives close to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqrW3MHsuEs
