Isn't Australia somewhere between Mexico and L.A.? Isn't New Zealand a suburb of Australia?

That's for sure...

But I am a dairy farmer and our area in Holland was being taken over by flower bulb farmers. So we looked somewhere else. Also the rules for dairy farming were very strict in Holland (lots of cows in a small country )
So we searched for some "easier" farming. We ended up in Portugal in 1994 and bought our current farm in 2001.

From my experience it wasn't the girls, or the beer, or the spas.

Oh, I'm from BC Canada. Home of the 75 cent loonie, 5 dollar a gallon fuel, Air Liquide and Praxair (means expensive welding lol).

There are quite a few nice girls here though, you must not have had much luck. Beer, well, the national brews are drinkable but I prefer others. Or just a Coke. Spas, can't comment on that...

The part of Australia down south far enough to be known as South Australia, despite not being the southern most part of Australia.

Indeed. I love the fact that despite the fact I can speak only in Australian, I am always made to feel 'weldcome'* here.
