Wow, another one popped up on craiglist. I think one reason we see so many of them in the area I live is there's a bit of aerospace work going on where they do use these, so that probably has something to do with the amount of them we see.

That’s a big one for sure! Curious what price they’re looking for. Didn’t see one on the listing.

Yeah, I could only speculate, but my guess is they are probably asking at least $2k-$3k for that big one...it's not going home in someone's Prius, that's for sure...

This other one above on this page which they're asking $695 for, if I was interested I would try to get it for about $500, that's kind of how I think about craigslist. Unless it's a screaming deal I'll try to get some off, and in the case they put "Asking", you know they'll go cheaper. It's also homemade.

These few that popped up as of recent will most likely be there for a bit, positioners typically are. There's a lot of welders, lots of big Millers that people ask $2k-$3k for. I don't see them as being worth that, most people want inverters these days, both for size and power. This is not to say that old transformer machines are not decent welders, just loosing their demand, IMO.

Just when i say that, this one pops up for $900, not a bad price, but 120 amps at 230 volt. :o (my entire home is 125 amps)
