Happy Thanksgiving to all!
It's a sunny 79* in SE Louisiana today.
I think we'll eat late, so my nap after can be all night...

I Googled Thanksgiving.

Then I Googled Black Friday.

I now feel much more culturally in touch. So yeah, trust all you folks in the U.S have a relaxing time.

I hear you guys have turkey for thanksgiving (except Mr President who apparently let his go in favour of tofu).

I googled this turkey thing and found this:

Have a good one! :D

Do you guys eat turkey in Oz? For real...I'm curious. Normal people stay home on Black Friday. My idea of thanksgiving is that I am thankful I only have to get together with my weirdo relatives once a year. Dinner at the mother-in-laws tonight was a shit show....I have 364 days to recover until next thanksgiving. I'm more than thankful that God makes alcohol. 8-)

Well yes actually, it just didn't fit with my story

The missus (MSRIP) once tried to feed me tofu but I refused and went without as nothing else was in the offing.
I could have chewed the backside out of a low flying duck that day. :D

Roast turkey for Christmas maybe, but we don't celebrate Thanksgiving or Black Friday at all. I think we mostly sit back thinking "When are all these damn Thanksgiving and Black Friday pop-ups gonna stop?"

Honestly, had no idea what either day was about until I Googled them. Origins are still pretty sketchy but hey, each culture to their own, right? We'll catch you on ANZAC Day!

We have 1 of those too! And one to celebrate those that served but are still with us.
